Our original plan today was to drive towards Victoria Falls with a stop in Binga Hot Springs.  Due to the heavy rains that they have been having, however, the road is closed so we will have to head back to Zambia and head to Victoria Falls that way.  We are up early as we have a long drive ahead of us.  After breakfast, however, when we try to start the truck, it will not start.  We have been having some problems with the batteries.

We try to push start it, but are un able to do so.  We therefore hang around and wait for a jump start.  We are ready to go at 9:30 AM.  We get to the Zimbabwe side of the border shortly later, and after stopping for immigration, we head down to the dam.  We take 15 minutes to have a look around.  The lake is very full and they are spilling off a lot of water which makes for a very spectacular sight.

We get to the Zambia side of the border around 10:30 AM.  We have tried to get someone to send them a fax asking for the visa fee waiver, but they did not get it.  We need to spend some time trying to convince them to let us have the visa waiver.  We then head on to Livingstone (which is the Zambian town nearest Victoria Falls).  We drive all day, only stopping for lunch. 

We arrive at the campsite in Livingstone after dark at 8 PM.  After setting up our tent, we go to the bar for a quick drink before dinner.  After dinner, we head off to bed.
