We wake up this morning to a wonderful sunrise over Lake Malawi.  After lazing in bed for a while, we pack up and head over to the truck for some breakfast.

The rest  of the day is spent relaxing on the beach.  We go for a swim in the lake (and hope that we will not catch Bilharzia), lay in the sun and play volleyball).  After a quick, refreshing drink in the bar, we head back to the truck for lunch.

After lunch, it is back to the beach to continue to relax.  Jacqui and a couple of others head off to go for a dive in the lake.  They have a great time, despite poor visibility.  They see some great fish.  The rest of us just hang out on the beach.  It is a great lake to swim in.

Just before dinner, we go collect our laundry and then take a shower and wash off all the sand collected while laying on the beach and playing volleyball.  Dinner is soup, beef curry and rice.

After dinner, it is back to the bar for some more drinks and table soccer.  Despite one minor setback, the team of Paolo and Lars dominates play.

When we head off to bed just before midnight, it is another wonderful night sky.  And once again, we enjoy watching it as we fall asleep.  But sometime in the night a major storm blows in.  The rain comes down in buckets and the wind is fierce.  At one point, we are holding the tent up from the inside to make sure that it does not blow over.  The lightning and thunder is something else.  The flashes of light would blind us through the tent and the thunder would follow shortly after.  Fortunately, the storm blew out quite quickly and we were able to go back to sleep.  Some water had sprayed in (as mist blown by the wind under the rain fly), but it was not too bad.
