Today was another driving day to get to Africa as fast as possible. After crossing the Spanish border at 9:40 AM, we stopped at San Sebastian so the cook group could buy food for dinner and breakfast. Jacqui and I walked along the ocean front and visited the town's church. We bought food for lunch and made some sandwiches while driving.
That evening we stopped at 7:05 PM at a campsite around 60 km north of Madrid. The first cook group of the trip to cook dinner for the group did an excellent job, preparing beef stew with mash potatoes, salad and figs.
