We have a long drive south to Ushuaia at the end of the world.  We are up before 7 AM and leave at 8 AM.  We arrive at the border about 2 hours later.  We pass through without too much difficulty and carry on.  We have a short stop for lunch and pull into Ushuaia at 4 PM.  We spend about one and half hours in the town.

We wanted to see if we could arrange a boat trip to Antarctic (we had heard that they had cheap fares at the moment), but we had no luck finding anything.  We booked a day trip on a boat that went out into the sound tomorrow.  We also checked our email.

Then it was off to the camp site, which is situated at the Rugby Club.  At first they wanted to put us in a spot near the buildings that was not so pleasant, but in the end we got a nice spot right on the edge of the stream that flowed by.

It is a quiet evening.  We relax, have dinner (and some wine) and hang out by the fire before heading off to our tents to sleep.
