Today is a driving day. We are up early at 5 AM, pack up our tent and head back to the truck to prepare breakfast. After preparing breakfast, we back up the truck and head off at 7 AM. The long driving day is broken only for a short stop for lunch and we arrive at our camp site alongside Rio Pinturas just before 7 PM. We camp in the grounds of a local farm.

The winds are strong and we are glad for the wind breaks formed by the bushes and trees in the otherwise barren plain. We even have a small hut to cook and eat in. It is a nice space to escape from the wind. There is also a fussball table, where the Americans take on the English - the English are beaten 10-1 and 10-5. The players are made out of solid steel, so it is hard work playing. After finishing off a couple of bottles of wine, we retire to our tent around 11 PM.
